In August 2010, I hiked "Pikes Peak" (14,175 ft)in Denver, Colorado. Deciding to hike Mt. Kilimanjaro (19,341 ft)was a follow-up with a goal to raise funds for improving literacy and education among kids. We made it to the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro on September 12, 2011. In December 2011 I did a 10 day desert expedition. Currently planning on an expedition to the Himalayas in Sept-Oct 2012.
